Reporting & Visualization Analyst

Summary:

The role primarily involves supporting the migration from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya, including code conversion and testing. The position requires the management and delivery of monthly and quarterly Retail Risk reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The candidate will prepare SAS datasets by extracting data from systems and collating manual files from various teams. Responsibilities include data review, obtaining explanations for significant data movements, and executing changes and enhancements as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Support SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya migration, including code conversion and testing.
• Manage the generation and delivery of monthly/quarterly Retail Risk reports accurately and timely.
• Prepare SAS datasets by extracting data from systems and collating manual files from other teams/units.
• Review data and obtain comments/explanations for significant data movements.
• Develop an understanding of key Group policies, standards, and regulatory circulations.
• Manage and resolve queries on data/reports and Group definitions.
• Execute changes/enhancements and handle ad hoc requirements.
• Ensure quality processing and adherence to all key controls and checks.
• Complete all necessary trainings (on-the-job or classroom).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
• Documentations like EUC, BIA, BCP, BID, Migration Checklists, SLAs, Recharge Documents, DOI, Change Templates, etc., need to be documented appropriately.
• Ensure proper backups are arranged for critical reports.
• Participate in projects related to BCBS 239, GRID, Report Integration, and other business requirements.
• Collaborate with the Group Retail Risk Report team (stakeholders) and deliver other process initiatives.

Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech with relevant 10 years of experience.
• Risk Certifications from established institutions are recommended FRM certified candidates will be preferred.
• Any technical certification in MS Office Advanced tools, SQL, Tableau, SAS Viya, or Python is preferred.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge in banking products across asset classes (FX/Rates/Equity/Credit and Commodities).
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.

• Ability to implement strategic ideas and enhance productivity and efficiency levels.
• Prior experience working with SAS Viya/SQL is required.
• Ability to process, analyze, and interpret statistical data and recommend policies based on the results.
• Experience in working in Retail/Credit Risk vertical with familiarity in MIS/Reporting.
• Experience working with Senior Management, interacting, and influencing senior stakeholders.
