About the Role

You'll be a senior full-stack engineer who owns features end to end — from system design through implementation, deployment, and iteration — across our TypeScript codebase and AI-powered backend. This is a high-autonomy role on a small team: we move fast, ship daily, and use AI-assisted development (Claude Code) as a core part of how we build. We need someone who takes full ownership, communicates proactively, and reliably delivers under deadlines — especially during critical client launches.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development (TypeScript)

- Build and maintain our core API (Node.js / Express / TypeScript) and its PostgreSQL data layer

- Develop responsive web apps in React (Vite) and Next.js using our shared component library

- Design clean, intuitive B2B interfaces with strong UI/UX sensibility

Data & AI

- Integrate LLMs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) into product features — creator discovery, relevance scoring, agentic outreach/email composition

- Apply prompt engineering and evaluate/observe LLM behavior (e.g., Langfuse)

- Build data-collection and enrichment pipelines, including web scraping (Bright Data, Apify, in-house scrapers) over large creator datasets

Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS)

- Work across AWS — SES (email), S3 (storage), Amplify (frontend hosting), Docker / App Runner–based services

- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL at scale (700K+ rows): schema design, indexing, query performance

- Keep deploys reliable on our PR-based CI/CD workflow

System Design & Ownership

- Translate product requirements into clear system designs before building — information architecture, data flow, API contracts

- Drive features spec → ship → verify, owning quality and correctness end to end

- Lead product iteration: gather requirements, propose solutions, coordinate with stakeholders

Engineering Workflow

- Develop with Claude Code (Anthropic's agentic coding tool) as a daily driver — writing specs, directing subagents, reviewing AI-generated code

- Manage version control with Git/GitHub; maintain a clean PR-to-dev workflow and resolve merge conflicts cleanly

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years building production web apps with TypeScript, React, and Node.js (Express or similar)

- Experience with Next.js

- Strong PostgreSQL design and optimization skills

- Hands-on experience with AWS (SES, S3, Amplify, or comparable)

- Demonstrated system design ability — you can architect a feature, not just implement tickets

- Proficiency with Claude Code (or strong, demonstrable AI-assisted / agentic development skills) — we build with it every day

- Experience integrating AI / LLMs into products, including prompt engineering

- Experience with web scraping and data pipelines

- Strong Git/GitHub skills, including merge-conflict resolution

- Excellent English communication with proactive, reliable status updates

- Strong ownership and professionalism — able to drive work to done independently, and hold the line under deadline pressure

Preferred Qualifications

- Cloudflare Workers / Pages / R2 (we run edge services on Hono)

- Drizzle ORM or similar TypeScript ORMs

- Docker and DevOps / CI experience

- Automated testing (Playwright)

- B2B SaaS UI/UX experience

- Familiarity with social media APIs and creator/content data

- Agile / iterative product development

- Prior product-leadership experience
