Remote Senior Integration Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of complex enterprise integrations between a modern SaaS platform and customer systems. In this role, you will own integrations end-to-end, from SAP-side customizations and ERP connectivity to iPaaS orchestration and platform API consumption. You will work directly with customer technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure data exchanges across SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise applications, while supporting onboarding initiatives and troubleshooting production environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering production SAP integrations.
• Strong ABAP development expertise, including:BAdIs User Exits Function Modules IDoc Extensions Custom OData Services (SEGW or RAP) Maintainable ABAP development within SE80
• Working knowledge of SAP Basis and integration administration, including:RFC Destinations SAP Gateway SICF STMS Authorization Objects SAP Cloud Connector SAP BTP Destinations
• Experience with SAP integration technologies:OData (v2 and v4) IDoc / ALE BAPI / RFC SAP Event Mesh / Advanced Event Mesh
• Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms, preferably Workato.
• Experience with one or more of the following:MuleSoft Boomi SAP Integration Suite n8n Azure Logic Apps
• Strong understanding of:REST APIs OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect OpenAPI Specifications Webhooks Polling Architectures Change Data Capture Idempotency Patterns Dead Letter Queues (DLQs)
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language:JavaScript Python Ruby
• Experience designing and implementing bidirectional integrations between SaaS platforms and enterprise systems.
• Ability to lead customer onboarding activities, including integration discovery, data validation, customization scoping, and production cutovers.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across SAP logs, RFC traces, iPaaS workflows, and platform event streams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customer SAP Basis, integration, and business teams.

Bonus Skills

• Experience integrating with additional ERP/EAM platforms, including:Oracle Cloud Oracle EBS IBM Maximo Infor EAM Hexagon Aveva
• Experience with event-driven architectures and managed event buses:AWS EventBridge GCP Pub/Sub Confluent Kafka
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS integration patterns, including:Per-tenant credential management OEM iPaaS deployments Customer-managed event subscriptions
• Domain experience in:Asset Reliability Maintenance Operations Manufacturing Utilities Oil & Gas
