Job Description

  • Define and implement reliability requirements for systems and subsystems, designing structured life tests to evaluate short- and long-term product performance.
  • Lead reliability modeling, predictions, and correlation of test data with field performance using statistical tools and simulations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams to embed Design for Reliability (DfR), FMEA, and DoE methodologies.
  • Support early commercial stages by analyzing field failures, predicting failure mechanisms, and resolving manufacturing or customer reliability issues.
  • Own reliability reviews, influence engineering changes, and drive improvements that enhance overall system robustness.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree (8+ years) or Master's degree (6+ years) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering with strong experience in reliability engineering of medical capital equipment or similar complex systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and executing HALT, HASS, and Accelerated Life Testing protocols, along with strong proficiency in statistical tools such as JMP, Minitab, Weibull++, DOE++, ALTA, and BlockSim.
  • Experience using Python or Matlab for data acquisition and analysis across electrical and physical parameters. Exposure to regulated industries and FEA tools such as Ansys Sherlock is preferred.
