Role Summary:
P rovide operational support for the Flowserve Monitoring Center function. The Engineer will coordinate execution and ongoing delivery of Flowserve monitoring service contracts for assigned customers. The Engineer is accountable for technical review, execution, maintenance, and customer support in addition to timely completion of contract deliverables, adherence to standard procedures, and effective cross-functional teamwork within Flowserve. Engineer will perform detailed vibration analysis of monitored customer equipment as needed using available sensor data to diagnose issues and make corrective recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor customer equipment, equipment status and health, and identify anomalies
- Assist with the active monitoring of customer equipment supporting the Flowserve Monitoring Center
- Re solve customer service calls, emails, and Flowserve RedRaven Portal tasks submitted to the Monitoring Center
- Prioritize and escalat e customer issues to appropriate Flowserve resources for resolution
- Properly execute procedures for Monitoring Center contract deliverables
- Perform vibration analysis using all available sensor data or liaise with Flowserve Field Service and customer to obtain additional information for such analysis
- Support report generation with Monitoring Center Project Management team
- Continuous evaluation of monitored sensors and alarms with Flowserve Field Engineering Services
- Follow up on recommendations for pull-through business opportunities to End User Sales team
- Analyze and develop solutions/recommendations for customer's equipment problems
- Able to travel to customer's site for local diagnosis and/or support
- Provide continuous improvement ideas and help drive change management
- Ensures projects results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost
- Compliance with company and department standards for AMSS service contract management
- Manage resolution of issues and track resolution cycle time
- Adhere to Flowserve and Customer Safety requirements and regulations
- Ensure On-time delivery of contract deliverables to End Customer
- Monitor n umber of System workflow requests issued/closed
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of technical experience in customer support and/or troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
- Minimum Category 3 Vibration Certification (ISO or ANSI accreditation).
- Exceptional knowledge of industrialrotating equipment (pumps, motors, compressors) and mechanical seals.
- Working knowledge of control valves and valve actuation equipment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; to be a professional face of Flowserve to our customer s.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high sense of urgency with a customer-focused mindset to execute.
- Ability to produce professional reports and presentations in keeping with company policies & objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package including spreadsheet, database management, and presentation software.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Strong analytical and problem - solving skills.
