Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Lead with strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, and Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, ensuring high product quality and efficient test execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright
- Lead end-to-end test automation strategy and execution
- Develop and maintain test scripts using Python
- Integrate AI capabilities within Playwright for intelligent test automation
- Generate and manage test data for automation scenarios
- Perform API testing and validate backend services
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality standards
- Analyze quality metrics and continuously improve testing processes
- Mentor junior QA engineers and guide best practices
Required Skills
- 6-8 years of experience in Selenium-based automation framework development
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright
- Strong programming experience in Python
- Experience with AI-enabled automation tools in Playwright
- Solid understanding of :
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Load & Performance Testing
- Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
- Basic awareness of Security Testing
- Strong understanding of product quality and quality metrics
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to lead and mentor teams
Nice To Have
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
