Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Order Management Cloud Functional Consultant with over 10 years of experience, having led multiple end-to-end Oracle Cloud SCM/Order Management implementations. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise, client-facing experience, and a proven ability to design, architect, and deliver complex Order-to-Cash solutions in Oracle Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive end-to-end functional design and implementation of Oracle Order Management Cloud and SCM Modules, including :
- Order Management
- Order Orchestration
- Pricing
- Global Order Promising (GOP)
- Inventory and Costing
- Provide strategic and architectural guidance on end-to-end integrations between Oracle Order Management, Financials, Procurement, and external systems.
- Own and review key project deliverables such as :
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Design Documents (FDD)
- Conference Room Pilot (CRP) documents
- Configuration Workbooks (CWB)
- Interface and data conversion design documents
- Lead solution development, configuration, and validation of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes in Oracle Order Management Cloud based on BR100, FDD, and CWB.
- Define, design, review, and oversee testing strategy, including :
- Test scripts preparation
- CRP, SIT, UAT execution support
- Defect triaging and resolution
- Act as a trusted advisor to Client Oracle SMEs, Business Stakeholders, and Project Managers, ensuring solution alignment with business objectives and global design templates.
- Secure formal client acceptance and sign-off on solution design, configurations, and rollout approach.
- Lead and support business users during CRP, SIT, and UAT phases, providing functional expertise and issue resolution.
- Own and drive data migration strategy, including :
- Data mapping from legacy systems
- FBDI/ADFDI template preparation and validation
- Data load execution and reconciliation
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for :
- Business development and pre-sales activities
- Solution demos and RFP responses
- Complex production issue escalations
- Design and deliver training programs for key business users and super users on Oracle Order Management Cloud processes.
- Lead knowledge transition and transition management from incumbent vendors or client IT teams during onboarding of new engagements.
Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of overall experience in Oracle SCM / Order Management functional consulting.
- Hands-on experience in at least three or more of the following Oracle Cloud OM areas :
- Order Management
- Pricing
- Global Order Promising (GOP)
- Inventory
- Costing
- Strong experience with FBDI/ADFDI and other Oracle Cloud data migration tools.
- Proven experience in integrating Oracle ERP applications using OIC/ICS.
- Hands-on experience in integrations using :
- Web Services
- REST APIs
- Middleware platforms
- Experience in implementing multi-currency, multi-org, and multi-country solutions in Oracle Cloud.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Analytics & Reporting, including :
- OTBI Reports
- Oracle BI (OBIEE) debugging and troubleshooting
- Advanced SQL skills - must be able to independently write, run, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries.
- Experience in :
- Leading large-scale Oracle Cloud implementations
- Working in onsite-offshore delivery models
- Managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams
