Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Release Manager (Offshore) to establish and manage the Release Management process using the ServiceNow Release Management module. This role is critical in standing up the process from the ground up, ensuring structured oversight, accountability, and continuous improvement across all releases. The Release Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering three major infrastructure/network releases while enforcing governance and minimizing operational disruption.
Responsibilities
- Release Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of three key infrastructure/network releases.
- Ensure releases are delivered on time with minimal impact to operations.
- Governance & Oversight
- Enforce release management standards, ensuring proper testing, validation, and signoffs prior to deployment.
- Provide end-to-end oversight of all releases, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Incident & Rollback Management
- Track unplanned rollbacks and incidents during releases.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures to strengthen future release cycles.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with ITSM, our client's IT teams, and external providers to develop detailed release schedules.
- Create and manage communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed throughout the release lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement
- Facilitate post-release reviews to gather feedback and analyze performance metrics.
- Implement lessons learned to drive process maturity and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with the ServiceNow Release Management module, including setup and process implementation.
- Strong background in Release Management within IT infrastructure and network environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex releases with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills for incident tracking and root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across ITSM, IT teams, and providers.
- Ability to enforce governance and ensure accountability across release processes.
