Relationship Officer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Officer role based in Nashik. The Relationship Officer will manage and grow a portfolio of customers, focusing on building long-term, trust-based relationships. Responsibilities include understanding customer financial needs, explaining suitable products, and supporting customers through the loan application, approval, and servicing process. The role involves regular field visits, follow-ups, and coordination to ensure timely repayments and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Relationship Management skills to build, maintain, and deepen customer relationships.
• Working knowledge of Finance, including basic credit, lending, and retail financial products.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and respectfully to diverse customer groups.
• Customer Service orientation, with a commitment to responsive, empathetic support and problem-solving.
• Sales skills to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate products, and achieve portfolio growth targets.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience in microfinance, banking, or community-based financial services is preferred.
• Comfort with on-site and field-based work in and around Nashik, including regular customer visits.
• Ability to work with integrity, follow processes, and contribute to an inclusive, gender-sensitive work environment.
