Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven
Relationship Officer to join our Secured Direct lending team. The primary responsibility of this role is to source and process loan applications through
self-sourcing and a network of connectors The candidate will be the face of the organization, building strong client relationships while ensuring adherence to compliance and credit guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Loan Sourcing:
- Proactively generate leads through self-sourcing (cold calling, field visits, referrals, digital platforms, etc.).
- Build and manage a reliable network of connectors such as property dealers, chartered accountants, and other channel partners to source loan applications.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with leads to maximize conversion.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Engage with prospective borrowers to understand their financial needs and provide suitable loan products.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Application Processing:
- Collect, verify, and ensure timely submission of all necessary documentation required for loan processing.
- Coordinate with internal credit and operations teams to ensure smooth processing and disbursal of loans.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all applications comply with regulatory and organizational credit guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of lead sourcing, customer interactions, and loan application statuses.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to management.
Qualifications And Skills
- XII cleared.
- 1-2 years of experience in Direct sourcing of Affordable Mortgage loans ( LAP and HL)
- Understanding of Legal and Technical aspects of mortgage loans
- Good understanding of local economy.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and build strong partner networks.
- Self-motivated with a result-oriented approach.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of loans sourced (monthly/quarterly targets).
- Conversion rate from lead to disbursal.
- Value of loans disbursed.
- Quality and productivity of sourced leads (NPA % and rejection rate).
- Expansion and effectiveness of connector network.
