Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Identify and acquire new customers through field visits, referrals, and company-generated leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term engagement.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers for new business opportunities.
  • Sales & Business Development
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate life, health, or general insurance products.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for new policies and renewals.
  • Present product features, benefits, and comparisons to customers clearly and professionally.
  • Upsell and cross-sell relevant insurance solutions.
  • Customer Service & Retention
  • Assist customers with queries related to policy issuance, premium payments, claims, and renewals.
  • Ensure timely renewal reminders and reduce policy lapse rates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure accurate completion of proposal forms, KYC documents, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain updated records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines prescribed by IRDAI and company policies.
  • Market Intelligence
  • Stay updated on competitor offerings, industry trends, and product updates.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs and market opportunities.
