Equitas Small Finance Bank is hiring Relationship Officers (CA) for its Retail Banking – Liability Sales team.

About the Role

The role focuses on acquiring New-to-Bank Current Account, Deposit and HNI customers while building strong customer relationships through quality service and effective engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential markets and catchment areas for Current Account and liability customer acquisition.
• Generate leads through references, market visits, stalls, networking, door-to-door activities and other field initiatives.
• Meet prospective customers, understand their requirements and recommend suitable banking products.
• Explain product features, benefits, charges, minimum balance requirements and documentation.
• Ensure accurate account opening and proper verification of customer documents.
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the account opening process.
• Engage with newly acquired customers and identify opportunities for additional banking products and services.
• Build a strong referral network to generate new business opportunities.
• Maintain daily sales reports and discuss plans, progress and action items with the reporting manager.

What We're Looking For

• Any Graduate with 1–4 years of experience.
• Experience in Current Account/CASA acquisition is preferred.
• Candidates from Banking, Insurance, Credit Cards, Pharma, Telecom, Consumer Durables or other direct-sales industries can apply.
• Strong field-sales and customer-facing experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Presentable with the ability to clearly explain products and services.
• Working knowledge of English and fluency in the relevant regional language.
• Comfortable using MS Office.
• Willingness to undertake extensive local travel.
