Job Description

Job Summary**

Responsible for building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with clients seeking secured direct lending solutions, ensuring their financial needs are met while driving business growth and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of secured direct lending clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Proactively identify and assess client financial needs, offering tailored secured lending products and services.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence for potential and existing clients, including reviewing financial statements, collateral assessments, and risk profiles.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive loan proposals to credit committees, articulating client needs, risk mitigation strategies, and deal rationale.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of secured direct loans, ensuring alignment with company policies and client requirements.
  • Monitor client accounts and loan performance, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues or opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of client transactions.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the secured lending landscape.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and client retention goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reporting.

Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in relationship management, commercial lending, or corporate banking, with a strong focus on secured direct lending products.
  • In-depth knowledge of various secured lending structures, collateral types, and credit risk assessment.
  • Strong financial analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial statements and market data.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
