Job Summary:**
As a Relationship Manager - Secured Direct, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-value client relationships, focusing on secured lending products. You will act as a trusted advisor, identifying client needs, structuring appropriate financial solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Proactively manage and grow an existing portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, focusing on secured direct lending solutions (e.g., mortgages, loans against property, asset-backed lending).
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial objectives and risk appetite.
- Identify new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio and through active prospecting, cross-selling, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on client applications, ensuring adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Structure and negotiate secured direct lending facilities, including terms, conditions, and pricing, in collaboration with credit and product teams.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals to clients, effectively articulating the value proposition of secured direct products.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of client requests, inquiries, and transactions.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the secured lending landscape.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including credit, legal, operations, and product development, to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Maintain meticulous client records and ensure compliance with all internal and external policies.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in relationship management within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on secured lending or direct client engagement.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of high-value clients.
- In-depth knowledge of secured lending products, including their features, benefits, and risk profiles.
- Strong understanding of credit assessment principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
