Job Description

Job Summary:**

As a Relationship Manager - Secured Direct, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-value client relationships, focusing on secured lending products. You will act as a trusted advisor, identifying client needs, structuring appropriate financial solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Proactively manage and grow an existing portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, focusing on secured direct lending solutions (e.g., mortgages, loans against property, asset-backed lending).
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial objectives and risk appetite.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio and through active prospecting, cross-selling, and referrals.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on client applications, ensuring adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Structure and negotiate secured direct lending facilities, including terms, conditions, and pricing, in collaboration with credit and product teams.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals to clients, effectively articulating the value proposition of secured direct products.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of client requests, inquiries, and transactions.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the secured lending landscape.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including credit, legal, operations, and product development, to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain meticulous client records and ensure compliance with all internal and external policies.

Job Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relationship management within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on secured lending or direct client engagement.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of high-value clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of secured lending products, including their features, benefits, and risk profiles.
  • Strong understanding of credit assessment principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, structure complex financial solutions, and close deals.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to ethical conduct and client confidentiality.
