Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager Sales role based in Rajkot. The Relationship Manager Sales will be responsible for acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and driving sales across the firm's investment and wealth management products. Key day-to-day activities include conducting client meetings, understanding financial goals, recommending suitable products, and ensuring a high-quality, compliant client experience. The role also involves coordinating with internal research, operations, and product teams to deliver timely insights and seamless service. The Relationship Manager Sales will track sales pipelines, achieve assigned targets, prepare regular reports, and participate in local marketing or investor education events to strengthen PL Capital's presence in the region.
Qualifications

  • Strong relationship management and client-facing skills, with the ability to understand client needs and build long-term trust-based partnerships.
  • Proven sales and business development capabilities in financial products such as equities, mutual funds, insurance, PMS, AIFs, or related offerings.
  • Solid knowledge of capital markets, investment concepts, and wealth management solutions, with the ability to explain them clearly to clients.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and local languages, with professional phone and in-person etiquette.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills for understanding portfolios, evaluating investment options, and interpreting market research.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital platforms for tracking leads, reporting, and client engagement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field; a relevant certification (e.g., NISM, NCFM, CFP, or equivalent) is an advantage.
