Role Overview
As a Relationship Manager Retention & Cross-Sales, you will manage and grow a portfolio of B2B clients, focusing on renewals, retention, and cross-selling across Employee Benefits (EB) and Non-EB insurance lines. The role is largely relationship and account-management driven, with periodic in-person client interactions as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined portfolio of B2B clients, owning the relationship across onboarding, servicing, renewals, and retention
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely resolution of queries and consistent service delivery
- Drive retention and account growth by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Employee Benefits (EB) and Non-EB insurance products
- Understand client risk profiles, coverage gaps, and evolving needs to recommend appropriate policy structures and enhancements
- Coordinate end-to-end renewals including quotes, negotiations, documentation, invoicing, and policy issuance
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, underwriting, operations, and claims) to deliver effective and timely client solutions
- Support clients through the claims process by liaising with internal claims specialists and insurers
- Conduct periodic client reviews and meetings (virtual or in-person, as required) to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate client data, renewal trackers, and servicing records in internal systems
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field
- 2+ years experience in corporate insurance (broker or insurer)
- Strong exposure to EB and Non-EB insurance products
- Proven field sales or relationship management experience
