Masters in Finance, 4+ Years of Relevant Experience

Required Skills & Competencies

  • PAN India Book size: 5821 cr FY24
  • NPA: Although there is a strong focus on regular client management and attempt for NIL NPAs
  • Product Line - LAS transactions, structure financing, special Situation financing including IPO finance, Acquisition Finance, Cash flow and hard collateral based funding to small and mid-size corporates for assigned geographical areas
  • Customers Category:
    • Promoter Investment Companies
    • Operating Companies
    • Super HNIs
    • Stock Brokers
    • NBFCs / MFIs.

Key Responsibilities:

To source capital market transaction, structure financing, IPO financing for assigned geographical area to ensure achievement of portfolio & bottom line growth targets while minimizing NPAs and achieving NIM and targeted return on equity.

1. Portfolio Growth - Lead and direct the sourcing capital & structure financing customers to ensure the targeted growth of the portfolio

  • Identify Group/Corporates for financing opportunities.
  • Directly build & maintain strong relationship with each & every large/mid corporate to explore funding opportunities.
  • Maintain relationship at all levels - Promoter/CFO/Finance head to explore various opportunities with Group/Company.
  • Build loan book in Corporate/Capital/Structured financing finance through direct origination.
  • Understand requirement of client & structure the transaction.
  • Participate in structured financing transactions of Large/mid-size companies.
  • Grow portfolio while minimizing NPA.

2. Bottomline Growth - Use appropriate pricing, fees etc. to maximize & grow margins

  • Negotiate best pricing from the client and maximize bottom line.
  • Maximize bottom line with combination of fees & interest income.
  • Basis client profile and market scenario, price each product right, to maximize the return.

3. Market Intelligence - Gather market intelligence towards evolving competitive business strategy, policies & processes

  • Gather market intelligence on a regular basis.
  • Share the market intelligence with Zonal managers.
  • Provide suggestions for improvement in processes, pricing, product, policy, NPA reduction etc to Zonal managers.

4. Control NPA - Ensure quality of portfolio to control NPAs

  • Ensure high standards of portfolio management, margin regularization, market intelligence for better NPA management.
  • Minimize the NPA.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments of exposure & report for any indication of customer defaults, sectoral changes etc.
  • Maintain good quality lending book and manage stress/overdues, if any by engaging actively & proactively with all stakeholders.

5. Stakeholder Coordination & Process Adherence - Coordinate with stakeholder for efficient transaction processing Ensure 100% adherence to organization processes/policies

  • Smoothly coordinate with all the stakeholders like Operation/Risk/Compliance in the organization for faster and better results.
  • Provide inputs to Zonal Manager for Sales MIS.
  • Be aware of all critical policies, processes & documentation for all the products.
  • Ensure policy/process adherence and documentation.
