Role Description The Relationship Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for acquiring and managing relationships with micro and small enterprise customers, understanding their financial needs, and recommending suitable loan and financial solutions. Daily activities include meeting prospective clients, conducting need-based assessments, explaining product features and terms, supporting the loan application process, and ensuring timely documentation and follow-up. The role involves monitoring existing customer accounts, maintaining regular contact to ensure high service standards, and addressing customer queries or concerns promptly. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with credit, operations, and collections teams to enable smooth disbursements, minimize risk, and contribute to portfolio growth while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship-building and customer service capabilities, with the ability to understand and address the needs of micro and small enterprise customers.
- Solid sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and achieving assigned targets in a financial services or lending environment.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to explain complex financial products clearly and maintain trust-based client interactions.
- Basic analytical and financial assessment abilities to review customer profiles, documentation, and creditworthiness in alignment with company guidelines.
- Familiarity with NBFC or banking operations, loan processes, and regulatory compliance related to small business lending is preferred.
- Proficiency in using standard office software and digital tools for reporting, documentation, and customer relationship management.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, manage field visits, and operate effectively in a target-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field; prior experience in retail or MSME lending will be an added advantage.
