Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Himatnagar. The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail and/or SME customers, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day activities include meeting clients, understanding their financial needs, recommending appropriate banking products, and cross-selling services such as accounts, loans, cards, and investment products. The role also involves monitoring account performance, resolving service issues, coordinating with internal teams for smooth transaction processing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and bank policies. The Relationship Manager is expected to achieve assigned sales and service targets while maintaining strong, trust-based customer relationships in the local market.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship management skills, including client servicing, needs assessment, and follow-up.
- Ability to understand and explain banking products such as deposits, loans, credit cards, and investment services.
- Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse customers and internal stakeholders.
- Sales and business development mindset, with skills in prospecting, cross-selling, and achieving revenue and portfolio growth targets.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to review account activity, identify opportunities, and address service issues effectively.
- Comfort with banking systems and digital tools, including CRM platforms and standard office applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; prior experience in banking, financial services, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- High level of integrity, adherence to compliance requirements, and ability to work in a structured, performance-driven environment.
