Position Overview:
The Relationship Manager - SME (Tier 1) will be responsible for sourcing and growing high-ticket SME lending business through the DSA channel, with a strong focus on Loan Against Property (LAP). The role requires a sales-driven professional who can acquire customers, develop sourcing relationships, understand financial statements and balance sheets, and consistently deliver business productivity targets
Key Responsibilities:
•Source new SME / LAP business through DSA partners and direct market development.
•Build, manage and deepen relationships with DSA partners, connectors and business sourcing stakeholders.
•Acquire customers for high-ticket LAP transactions and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to login and closure.
•Understand customer financials, balance sheets and basic credit / underwriting considerations relevant to LAP cases.
•Evaluate ticket size, business profile and financial information to ensure quality sourcing and conversion.
•Maintain strong pipeline discipline, timely follow-ups and accurate sales / sourcing MIS.
•Work toward assigned business targets with focus on high-value cases and consistent month-on-month productivity.
•Coordinate with internal credit, operations and processing teams for smooth movement of cases and resolution of queries.
•Maintain required documentation and comply with defined sourcing, KYC and process requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
•Must have relevant experience specifically from the DSA sales / sourcing vertical.
•Branch Banking profiles will not be considered for this requirement.
•Strong hands-on experience in LAP / Loan Against Property sourcing and sales.
•Candidates with an HL + LAP mix (approximately 40% HL / 60% LAP) may be explored, but the candidate must be comfortable with a pure LAP-focused role.
•Strong understanding of LAP and Balance Sheet Analysis is required.
•Candidates should be enthusiastic, highly sales-driven and comfortable with business development targets.
Mandatory Screening Parameters:
•Education: Graduate degree preferred / expected for the role.
•CIBIL Score: Minimum 650+.
•Complete employment documentation from all previous employers is mandatory.
•Strong communication, relationship management, negotiation and stakeholder-handling skills.
•Strong field-sales orientation and proven business sourcing capability.

- The ideal candidate is a DSA-channel sales professional with strong LAP sourcing exposure, experience in high-ticket business, a working understanding of balance sheets and customer financials, and a consistent track record of business productivity. The candidate should be comfortable operating in a target-driven environment and building business through external sourcing relationships.
