Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Surat. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their protection and investment needs, and recommending appropriate life insurance solutions. The role includes generating new business through leads, referrals, and local market outreach, as well as supporting customers throughout the policy lifecycle, from onboarding and documentation to renewals and servicing. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with internal teams and distribution partners, ensure accurate and timely completion of sales and service processes, and adhere to all regulatory and company compliance guidelines. The position also involves meeting defined sales and service targets while delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship management and client servicing abilities, with a focus on understanding individual needs and providing suitable life insurance solutions.
- Proven sales, negotiation, and business development skills, ideally in financial services, insurance, banking, or related sectors.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain financial products clearly and handle customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts, follow up on leads, and meet defined targets.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and CRM or sales tracking systems, along with openness to learning new technology platforms used by the company.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred; relevant certifications in insurance or finance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in life insurance or financial advisory roles is highly beneficial but motivated early-career professionals with strong people skills will also be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Surat, demonstrate high ethical standards, and comply with all regulatory and organizational guidelines.
