Job Description

A banking relationship managerbuilds and maintains relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact to provide financial advice, cross-sell banking products like loans and investments, and ensure customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include understanding client needs, managing accounts, resolving issues, achieving sales targets, and using data to identify growth opportunities and report on performance.

Core responsibilities

  • Client relationship management:Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial guidance:Provide personalized advice on the bank's products and services, such as savings, loans, investments, and insurance, to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Sales and business development:Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to achieve sales targets and increase the bank's wallet share with existing clients.
  • Client support:Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and complaints, ensuring they are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Account management:Monitor and track client accounts, loans, and investments, and ensure all transactions and documentation are handled accurately.
  • Performance reporting:Analyze client data to identify trends and prepare reports on account performance for both the client and the bank.
