Role Description The Relationship Manager – Banca Vertical is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for managing and growing insurance business through assigned banking partners, building strong working relationships with branch staff, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales and revenue targets. Day-to-day tasks include visiting bank branches, driving lead generation and conversion, conducting product trainings for bank teams, and ensuring timely support for policy issuance and customer queries. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, preparing regular reports, and coordinating with internal underwriting, operations, and customer service teams to deliver a smooth experience to banking partners and end customers. The Relationship Manager is expected to maintain high standards of compliance, follow internal processes, and actively promote Zuno's motor insurance products and value propositions.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or relationship management, preferably in bancassurance, general insurance, financial services, or related domains.
  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with bank staff and customers.
  • Ability to understand and communicate insurance products clearly, including key features, benefits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Good analytical, reporting, and basic MS Office skills to track branch performance, leads, and sales conversions.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a field-based, branch-focused environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or banking are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with local Bengaluru market dynamics and willingness to travel across assigned bank branches.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and delivering an inclusive, high-quality customer experience.
