Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Vapi. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and deepening relationships with individual and business customers, understanding their financial needs, and recommending suitable banking products and services. Daily activities include acquiring new customers, onboarding them smoothly, cross-selling and upselling relevant products, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through timely service and follow-ups. The role involves regularly meeting customers, conducting financial needs assessments, resolving service issues, and coordinating with internal teams such as operations, credit, and product units. The Relationship Manager will also monitor portfolio performance, ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory guidelines, and contribute to branch-level business and revenue targets.
Qualifications

  • Strong customer relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, maintain long-term relationships, and provide proactive service.
  • Sales and business development capabilities, with experience in acquiring customers, cross-selling financial products, and meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Sound understanding of banking or financial services, including basic knowledge of retail banking products (accounts, loans, deposits, cards, insurance) and risk/compliance norms.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and engage with diverse customer segments.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer needs, review financial information, and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to work on-site in Vapi, manage time efficiently, and collaborate with branch and back-office teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications in banking/finance is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a relationship management, sales, or customer service role in banking or financial services is preferred.
