Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Hapur. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for sourcing new customers, building and maintaining relationships with existing borrowers, and promoting home loan products to low- and middle-income segments. The role includes assessing customer needs, explaining product features and eligibility criteria, and guiding applicants through documentation and loan processing. The Relationship Manager will coordinate with internal credit, operations, and collections teams to ensure timely disbursals and high-quality portfolio performance. Daily activities also include field visits, follow-ups on leads, post-disbursal customer support, and adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and ethical sales practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in customer relationship management, client servicing, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to build trust and long-term engagement.
  • Experience in sales, business development, or field-based roles, preferably in housing finance, NBFCs, microfinance, or related financial services.
  • Strong understanding of basic credit principles, loan documentation, and KYC norms, with the ability to evaluate customer profiles and financial stability.
  • Effective communication skills in English and local languages, with the ability to explain financial products clearly to first-time borrowers.
  • Comfort with fieldwork, local market knowledge of Hapur and surrounding areas, and readiness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office and mobile/loan management applications for reporting, data entry, and lead tracking.
  • Minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree (Commerce, Finance, Business, or related fields preferred); relevant diplomas or certifications in finance or sales are an advantage.
  • High level of integrity, customer-centric mindset, problem-solving ability, and resilience in a target-driven environment.
