Job Summary
Stepcare Clinic, Whitefield is looking for a qualified and experienced Staff Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a clinic, be well-versed with outpatient procedures, and support doctors during consultations and treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during OPD consultations and minor procedures
- Perform clinical procedures such as:
- Vaccinations (adult and paediatric)
- IV cannulation and IV infusions
- Injections and medication administration
- Wound dressing and basic emergency care
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Monitor and record patient vitals and maintain clinical records
- Ensure proper sterilization and infection control practices
- Handle and maintain medical equipment and supplies
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and medications
- Maintain clinic cleanliness and follow clinical protocols
- Coordinate with doctors, front desk, and other staff for smooth clinic operations
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing
- Valid Nursing Council registration
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience
- Prior experience working in a clinic is mandatory
- Hands-on experience with OPD procedures, vaccinations, IVs, and patient care
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of clinical and outpatient procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
