Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse, based in Bengaluru. The Registered Nurse will provide patient-centered care in the home setting, including administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine assessments, assisting with treatment plans, providing post-surgical care, and ensuring patient comfort. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, educating patients and families about health management, and offering support for those with chronic conditions or post-hospitalization needs.
Qualifications
- Clinical skills including patient assessment, administering medications, and wound care
- Knowledge of care protocols in elderly and dependent care, chronic illness management, and post-surgical care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and families on care plans
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and therapists
- Organizational skills for keeping accurate patient records and documentation
- Relevant nursing licenses or certifications as required by governing authorities
- Experience in home healthcare, though not mandatory, is highly desirable
- Proficiency in the use of healthcare technology and tools is an asset
