Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in Chengalpattu and focuses on registered architectural work within the town planning department and CMDA in Chennai. The architect will prepare and review architectural drawings, plans, and documentation required for CMDA and local authority approvals, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and codes. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with clients, consultants, and government officials; attending department and CMDA meetings; and following up on submissions, modifications, and clearances. The role also involves overseeing integration of design changes, maintaining accurate project records, and supporting project management activities such as timelines, milestones, and reporting. The architect will work closely with internal teams to ensure that all designs are practical, compliant, and aligned with project objectives.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including preparation of compliant drawings and plans for regulatory approvals.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including coordination with stakeholders, scheduling, documentation, and follow-up with town planning and CMDA authorities.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Software Development and Integration as applicable to architectural workflows, such as using CAD/BIM tools and integrating digital documentation systems.
- Recognized degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and registration with the Council of Architecture (or eligibility for registration).
- Experience working with CMDA, DTCP, or local planning authorities in Chennai or Tamil Nadu is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) and strong understanding of local building bylaws and codes.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
