Regional Tax Manager, APAC

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client with a strong regional footprint across APAC. As part of their continued growth and commitment to financial excellence, they are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead regional tax matters and serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all regional tax matters, including corporate tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing across multiple APAC markets.
• Develop and execute tax strategies to ensure compliance while optimising tax efficiency.
• Review and manage tax filings, statutory submissions, and support external audits.
• Provide tax advisory support for regional business initiatives, restructuring projects, and cross-border transactions.
• Partner closely with finance, legal, and commercial stakeholders to assess tax implications on business decisions.
• Monitor regulatory developments across the region and advise management on potential impacts.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices to strengthen tax governance and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA/CTA) preferred.
• Minimum 8–12 years of regional tax experience gained in MNCs or Big 4 environment.
• Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing.
• Proven ability to navigate complex, multi-market tax landscapes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
