Job Description

Purpose of Position:

The purpose of the role is to drive the Segment in the region and develop and execute Regional Segment Strategy in collaboration with the Global Segment Manager. The role involves supporting the sales team in driving customer development, defining standards, and bringing in sales. The job holder needs to drive business acting as a Regional Segment CEO.

Responsibilities& Accountabilities:

  • Develop & execute Region Segment Strategy, focus on key application, key projects & Key Customer
  • Support Sales teams driving customer development, defining standards and bringing in sale
  • Drives large Projects in Region as& with Capture team leader
  • Developing competence and understanding of the segment
  • Deep application, product and competition understanding. Driving competence build upfor the segment
  • Close to selected key customers, understanding their needs and translating them intoHW/SW/Serv. requirements
  • Identify and drive investments in the segment (MR, PLS, etc.)
  • Drive business as segment CEO end-to-end
  • Close to HUB/MO/Global counterparts - being a good team player, challenging sparring partner, share successes with global community
  • Track, follow up and complete agreed initiatives with counterparts.

Job Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Marketing or Business Management preferred
  • 8-12 years experience overall experience and at least 2-3 years in a similar role
  • Conceptual skills to develop a strategy of his/her segment.
  • Good storyteller to various stakeholders, showing passion for his/her segment.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in managing matrix structure
  • High level understanding of the organization strategy (vision and objective)
