Position Overview

Palfinger India is looking for a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to drive sales and market development across West Region (Maharashtra, Goa, Gujrat) The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding dealer network, strengthening key customer relationships, and promoting the complete range of Palfinger lifting and material handling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1.Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for West Region.
  • Promote and sell the complete Palfinger product portfolio including Loader Cranes, Hookloaders, Access Platforms, and Epsilon.
  • Identify new business opportunities in construction, RMC, infrastructure, mining, ports, and logistics segments.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers.
  • Manage key accounts and develop long-term strategic relationships.

2. Market Development

  • Appoint and manage channel partners and dealers across the region.
  • Develop market penetration strategies for Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and submit structured market intelligence reports.
  • Organize roadshows, exhibitions, and customer engagement programs.

3. Commercial & Negotiation

  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals in coordination with internal teams.
  • Lead price negotiations while maintaining profitability margins.
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain healthy debtor control.

4. Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with service, logistics, finance, and operations teams for seamless order execution.
  • Submit weekly sales reports, pipeline status, and forecasting reports.
  • Ensure CRM data is updated regularly and accurately.

5. Customer Relationship & After Sales Support

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement.
  • Coordinate with service team for commissioning and post-sales support.
  • Address customer concerns promptly to maintain brand reputation.

What you Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred. MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in construction equipment, cranes, hydraulics, or material handling industry.
  • Strong exposure to Maharashtra, Goa, Gujrat Region
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
