Role OverviewSigenergy India is hiring a Regional Sales Manager (West India) to drive business growth across key western and central states. This role will be responsible for building strong relationships with large EPC customers, Residential and C&I customers, expanding the distributor network, and developing a high-performing state-level sales and solutions team.
The role requires a strong understanding of the solar and energy storage market, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to execute aggressive growth targets across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth- Drive sales growth across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, MP, Goa, and Punjab
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for Solar Inverter & BESS products
- Identify and convert high-potential customers in residential, C&I, and Utility project segments
EPC & Key Account Management- Manage and grow relationships with large EPC customers and key project accounts
- Support EPCs in solution design, proposal discussions, and project execution alignment
- Ensure long-term account retention and repeat business
Residential & C&I Market Development- Expand Sigenergy's footprint in the residential rooftop and C&I segments
- Work with distributors and installers to grow residential adoption
- Support C&I customers with customized solar + storage solutions
Distributor & Channel Development- Develop and manage a regional distributor network
- Support distributors to grow market share through lead generation, training, and joint planning
- Monitor distributor performance and ensure target achievement
Team Building & Regional Expansion- Establish and manage state-level sales and solutions teams
- Drive team performance through KPIs, review meetings, and coaching
- Coordinate with marketing and technical teams to support regional growth
Market Intelligence & Business Development- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and project opportunities
- Provide regular market feedback to leadership and product teams
- Identify new opportunities in solar + storage (BESS) across the region
Reporting & Forecasting- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting through CRM
- Ensure disciplined reporting and structured follow-ups with partners and customers
Requirements- 612+ years of experience in solar sales / EPC sales / renewable energy
- Strong network with EPCs, developers, distributors, and C&I customers
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets across multiple states
- Good understanding of solar inverters, BESS, and rooftop/project markets
- Experience building and managing regional sales teams is a strong advantage
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region
