Role Overview
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager with strong experience in Government (PSU/State/Central) sales across domains such as Telecom, IoT, IT Security, Surveillance, and Cybersecurity. The role involves driving revenue growth, managing key government accounts, and building a strong partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive government sales (PSU/State/Central) across assigned region and achieve revenue targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Telecom, IoT, IT Security, Surveillance, and Cybersecurity domains
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, RFP/tender participation, bid management, and deal closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, ministries, and key stakeholders
- Develop and manage a robust partner/channel ecosystem including system integrators, resellers, and OEM partners
- Collaborate with internal teams for solutioning, pricing, and proposal submissions
- Track and manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue realization
- Ensure smooth coordination for order processing, invoicing, and collections
- Handle large and strategic government accounts and ensure long-term engagement
Key Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in Government Sales (PSU/State/Central)
- Proven track record in selling solutions in Telecom / IoT / IT Security / Surveillance / Cybersecurity
- Strong experience in handling RFPs, tenders, and bid management
- Established network with government departments and decision-makers
- Experience working with partners, system integrators, and channel networks
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and close large deals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
