Regional Sales Manager – Sponsorship (East India)

About the Role
Comic Con India is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to spearhead sponsorship revenue in East India. With 11 shows nationwide, the East Indian circuit is a cornerstone of our growth. You will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing sponsorship deals with regional brands and agencies to drive revenue for our festivals in West Bengal, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
•
Revenue Generation: Own the regional sales target and drive revenue through the acquisition of regional sponsors.
•
Prospecting: Identify and target high-potential brands in the FMCG, Alco-bev, Tech, and Lifestyle sectors within the North India belt.
•
Pitching: Create and deliver compelling sponsorship presentations that highlight the unique value proposition of Comic Con India.
•
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with regional marketing heads and media buying agencies.
•
Collaboration: Work closely with the Central Sponsorship Head to ensure regional efforts align with national strategy.
Requirements
•
Experience: 4–7 years in B2B sales, specifically within Radio, TV, or Event Sponsorship.
•
Market Knowledge: Deep network within the Northeast corporate and media agency landscape.
•
Sales Track Record: Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets consistently.
•
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
•
Bonus: A genuine interest in pop culture (Comics, Movies, Gaming, Anime) is a major advantage.
