Role OverviewSigenergy India is hiring a Regional Sales Manager (South India) to drive business growth across the southern regions of India. This role will be responsible for expanding Sigenergy's presence across Residential, Commercial & Industrial (C&I), and EPC/project segments, while building strong relationships with large EPCs, distributors, and key customers.
The role also involves developing and managing state-level sales and solutions teams to support rapid regional expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth- Drive sales across Residential, C&I, and EPC/project segments
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for solar inverters and BESS
- Develop a strong regional pipeline across all customer segments
EPC & Key Account Management- Manage relationships with large EPCs and key project accounts
- Support EPCs and C&I customers with solution positioning, proposals, and closures
- Ensure long-term account growth and repeat business
Residential & C&I Market Development- Expand Sigenergy's footprint in the residential rooftop and C&I segments
- Work with distributors and installers to grow residential adoption
- Support C&I customers with customized solar + storage solutions
Distributor & Channel Development- Build and manage a strong regional distributor network
- Enable distributors to grow through training, joint planning, and market execution
- Track distributor performance and ensure target achievement
Team Building & Regional Expansion- Establish and manage state-level sales and solutions teams
- Set clear KPIs and drive performance through regular reviews and coaching
- Coordinate with marketing and technical teams to support regional growth
Market Intelligence & Reporting- Track competitor activities, pricing, and regional trends
- Provide structured market feedback to leadership
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM reporting
Requirements- 612+ years of experience in solar sales / renewable energy
- Strong exposure to Residential, C&I, and EPC/project markets
- Existing network with EPCs, distributors, installers, and C&I customers
- Proven track record of multi-state sales growth
- Experience managing regional teams is a strong advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region
