Job Title:Regional Sales Manager (South India )

Reporting To :Sales Head India
Role Overview:
- The Regional Sales Manager – South India will drive business expansion and revenue growth across key technology hubs including Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and surrounding markets.
- This role will focus on enterprise cloud adoption, strategic partnerships, and building a strong regional sales organization.
- The candidate will lead client acquisition, large deal closures, and regional sales strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities :
Regional Revenue Ownership:
- Own and drive regional revenue targets and growth strategy for South India.
- Develop and execute region-specific sales plans aligned with company objectives.
- Identify high-value opportunities in enterprise, mid-market, and startup segments
Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Establish the company's presence across South region - Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and surrounding markets.
- Develop strategic relationships with CXOs, IT leaders, and decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities for cloud adoption, migration, managed services, and modernization
Leadership & Team Management:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional sales teamGuide Business Development Executives, and Account Managers.
- Set clear performance metrics, targets, and sales strategies.
Enterprise Client Engagement:
- Lead strategic client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Develop long-term relationships with enterprise and large SMB clients.
- Ensure successful deal closures and customer onboarding
Sales Pipeline & Forecasting:
- Maintain strong visibility of regional pipeline and deal progress.
- Monitor CRM reporting, pipeline health, and revenue forecasting.
- Work closely with leadership on quarterly and annual sales projections
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Partnerships teams.
- Align marketing campaigns with regional business opportunities.
- Support solution positioning and proposal development
Market Intelligence:
- Track regional technology trends, competitor activities, and industry developmentsIdentify emerging market segments and new growth opportunities
What We're Looking For:
- 8–12 years of experience in IT Sales / Cloud Sales / Technology Solutions
- Sales3–5 years of experience in sales leadership or regional sales management
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong network with enterprise customers and technology decision-makers
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
- Ability to manage large deals and complex enterprise sales cycles
Preferred (Good to Have):
- Experience selling AWS / Azure / GCP cloud services.
- Exposure to cloud migration, managed services, and digital transformation solutions.
- Strong connections within enterprise and mid-market organizations in South India
Additional Preferred Requirement:
- Proficiency in regional South Indian languages such as Kannada, Tamil, or Telugu will be an added advantage for building strong client relationships and managing regional business operations effectively.
