Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Regional Sales Manager – Solar role based in Thrissur. The Regional Sales Manager will lead solar sales operations in the assigned region, including managing the sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities, and developing relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring a regional sales team, setting targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring high-quality customer experience throughout the sales cycle. The role will coordinate closely with technical, installation, and support teams to provide accurate proposals, pricing, and project timelines. The Regional Sales Manager will also conduct market analysis, participate in promotional activities, and provide regular reporting and sales forecasts to leadership.
Qualifications
  • Proven regional sales management experience in solar, renewable energy, or related electrical/mechanical products.
  • Strong skills in business development, key account management, and territory planning.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Solid understanding of solar solutions, basic system configurations, and commercial aspects of solar projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills for sales forecasting, reporting, and market analysis.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and mobile-based sales workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site in Thrissur and travel regularly within the region as required.
  • Customer-focused mindset, ethical conduct, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.
