Reporting To: Regional Sales Leader West

We are now strengthening our footprint in Gujarat and are looking for a senior business leader to drive enterprise growth in the region.

Role Overview

The Vice President Sales (Gujarat) will be responsible for building and expanding Softcell's enterprise business across the Gujarat region. This is a strategic leadership role focused on developing CXO relationships, driving large SI deals, building a strong local team, and positioning Softcell as a preferred enterprise technology and security partner.

The role will initially operate as a business leadership function (without a formal branch office setup) and will be supported by central pre-sales, technical, security, and delivery teams.

The Vice President Sales (Gujarat) role will report to Regional Sales Lead (West).

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Growth & Market Expansion

  • Drive revenue growth across enterprise accounts in Gujarat
  • Identify and develop large, multi-year SI and services opportunities
  • Expand Softcell's footprint in key industry verticals
  • Position Softcell's CERT-In capabilities and IP-led security offerings with customers

2. CXO Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, and business leaders
  • Act as a trusted advisor on enterprise IT, security, and compliance initiatives
  • Represent Softcell in senior-level customer engagements

3. Sales Leadership & Team Building

  • Build and lead a regional sales and pre-sales team
  • Drive structured account planning and pipeline management
  • Mentor enterprise sales talent on consultative and solution selling

4. Strategic Engagements

  • Lead complex solution selling involving multiple OEMs and service lines
  • Work with central teams on cybersecurity, SOC, cloud, and infra programs
  • Support large RFPs, negotiations, and transformation initiatives

5. Market & Partner Ecosystem

  • Strengthen relationships with key OEMs and security / infra partners like ManageEngine, Fortinet, Nutanix, NetApp, Veeam, Check Point, Force Point, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, etc.
  • Track regional market trends, competition, and compliance priorities
  • Promote Softcell's services + IP approach, not just product sales
  • Travel to various locations in Gujarat for market expansion

Candidate Profile

1. Experience & Background

  • 15+ years in Enterprise IT / Systems Integration / Technology Services
  • Strong experience selling SI, cybersecurity, cloud, and infra solutions
  • Exposure to regulated / compliance-driven environments preferred
  • Track record in large enterprise deal closures

2. Regional & Cultural Fit

  • Strong enterprise relationships in Gujarat
  • Fluency in Gujarati and Hindi (English required)
  • Familiarity with regional business culture

3. Leadership & Personality

  • Strategic and execution-focused
  • Comfortable engaging CXOs
  • Strong team builder and hands on experience of managing teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Willingness to travel and meet customers across the region
