We are looking for a highly driven, numbers-focused Regional Business Manager to spearhead our OTC and Derma-Cosmetic footprint across critical regional territories.

The Role & Key Focus Areas

As Regional Business Manager, you will entirely own the P&L, distribution network, and sales team productivity for your assigned zone. Your role balances strategic channel expansion with aggressive on-ground execution.

Responsibility:

  • Target Achievement: Drive regional primary and secondary sales targets, ensuring consistent month-on-month growth for the OTC division.
  • Commercial Planning: Formulate brand, SKU, and channel-wise sales strategies, including accurate monthly/quarterly sales forecasting and budget management.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor moves, pricing dynamics, and market trends to provide strategic inputs and actionable MIS reports to executive leadership.
  • Network Scaling: Strengthen and expand the core chemist, distributor, and Direct Accounts (DA) networks to maximize retail penetration.
  • Merchandising Dominance: Ensure strict implementation of brand campaigns, tactical promotions, planograms, and premium shelf visibility across key retail outlets.
  • Financial Discipline: Monitor regional stock rotation, minimize inventory leakages, and ensure timely collections from the distributor network.
  • Active Field Work: Travel extensively across the designated region to run brand promotions, audit market placement, and anchor relationships with key retail partners.
Key Requirements
  • Industry Experience: 10–12 years of core sales experience strictly within the OTC, Derma-Cosmetic, FMCG or Premium Skincare industry of Tamil Nadu.
  • Channel Expertise: Mandatory, proven track record of handling and scaling Chemist and Direct Account (DA) channels.
  • Leadership Capabilities: Demonstrated experience leading multi-tier field teams and managing large-scale regional operations.
  • Core Skills: Exceptional negotiation, data-backed forecasting, and numbers-driven team management capabilities.
