Job Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our healthcare sales operations in the Coimbatore region. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in healthcare, medical devices, biomedical, or critical care sales who can drive regional growth, manage teams, and build long-term relationships with healthcare institutions.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, strengthening market presence, and ensuring alignment between sales strategy and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute effective regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research and competitor analysis
  • Drive business development initiatives across hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives
  • Set targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching to improve productivity
  • Foster a high-performance, target-driven sales culture

Client & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders
  • Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships

Reporting & Coordination

  • Track sales performance using CRM and analytics tools
  • Provide regular reports on market trends, sales forecasts, and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and product) to align business goals

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Sales, Account Management, and Business Development
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare products, especially medical devices and critical care technologies
  • Proven team leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales performance analytics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field
  • MBA is preferred but not mandatory
  • Prior experience in healthcare-focused sales is essential
  • Strong regional market knowledge and healthcare industry network is an added advantage
  • Willingness to work on-site in Coimbatore and travel within the region as required
