Role Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, dealer engagement, and market expansion in assigned region by leading a high-performing team of Territory Sales Manager and Area Sales Managers, managing end-to-end execution of sales strategies. The role will serve as a strategic link between regional field operations and corporate leadership, ensuring alignment with national business goals and revenue targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the assigned region to meet and exceed sales targets
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Executives, Territory Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers and Distributors
- Handle moderately complex clients at the regional level: Regional distributors and large dealers, Medium-to-large institutional buyers within a region, regional channel sales (contractors, EPCs, mid-tier OEMs)
- Recommend regional product bundling, stock prioritization, and feedback-based updates
- Approve tactical discounting within approved ranges
- Recommends deal-specific pricing to ZSM/NSM
- Approves appointment of regional dealers/distributors
- Manages coverage and logistics. Executes regional campaigns. Recommends BTL activities, trade meets, etc
- Plan regional targets
- Analyse regional potential and pricing adaptability
- Recommend hiring, policy tweaks, channel growth plans
- Track monthly sales and collections
- Guide ASMs/TSMs on issues
- Conduct training and market audits
- Ensure team alignment
- Represent Mallcom India Limited at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline or related field
- MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred
- 10 - 15 years of experience in B2B sales, distribution-led models; minimum 3 years in a regional leadership role
- Experience in Dealer Management is mandatory
- Should be open to travel 12 - 15 days in a month
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Excellent Leadership skills
- Should be well versant with the local language
