Job Description

Job Title: Account/ Sales Manager-APAC

Location: India/Remote

Experience: Minimum 7+ years

Languages: English

Responsible for the sales and key accounts function within APAC region and for planning, controlling, and coordinating of the activities of the regional sales managers and account managers to meet sales targets.

 

At least 7 years of experience in the banking industry with core banking systems knowledge is a good value addition.

 

Key Performance Areas / Job Outputs

 

General Management

• Manage all hands-on operational aspects of the sales and accounts function to ensure the desired targets are achieved

• Set maintenance standards and targets for the team

• Ensure that technical knowledge and best practices are transferred across the sales function

• Identify and interpret related legislation and its impact on the region and ensure compliance Financial Management:

• Manage, monitor, and control the finances of the function • Identify cost-saving and cash-conservation opportunities Budgeting:

-Prepare and manage the budget

-Monitor and report operational performance against budget (monthly)

 

Expenditure

• Manage and control expenditure against a budget Sales Strategy:

• Develop the regional sales strategy which is aligned to the ITSS business strategy

• Assess gaps, competitor activities, and opportunities in the market

• Build strategic customer and complementary supplier alliances New Business Development

• Keep abreast of the business, economic and political climate in the regions in which the organization operates

• Foster the search for new business opportunities

• Investigate opportunities for strategic partnerships Customer Relations:

• Develop and manage customer relationships to meet business objectives Sales Planning

•Develop the best route to market and plans for all customer segments in order to achieve the sales targets

• Gather and provide relevant information to contribute to sales and marketing activities

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data required to inform a sales plan

• Monitor and review customer sales plans for sale team

• Check that the product range is represented in the market

 

Computer Skills:

• Use a personal computer operating system

• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Explain the principles of business and the role of Information Technology

• Demonstrate an understanding of information systems analysis

IM/IT Risk Management:

• Identify and explain IM/IT risks and recommend security solutions

Legislation:

• Understand legal requirements within the Regional countries that ITSS operates
