Job Position - Regional Sales Manager

Duties & Responsibilities
Dealer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with dealers and OEM sales teams in the assigned territory
- Regularly visit dealerships to assess dealers inventory levels, fund requirements, and business opportunities for captive
- Educate dealers on various financing schemes, product features, and digital working capital solution for captive.
Business Development & Disbursements
- Achieve monthly and quarterly wholesale disbursement targets across inventory funding limits, term loans, or working capital products
- Drive dealer onboarding, document collection, credit approval sanction and completing post formalities, and achievement of minimum limit utilization target.
- Support rollout of OEM wholesale programs and incentive schemes at the regional level
Credit Coordination & Approvals
- Work closely with credit managers and operations team to facilitate dealer proposals, renewals, and escalations
- Track status of credit files, approvals, and ensure timely limit setups
- Provide feedback on competition working, various requirement to credit and policy teams based on field experience.
Process & System Adoption
- Assist dealers on digital portal for all request and automate limit management systems.
- Ensure compliance with RBI norms, company credit policies, and ethical sales practices
- Support resolution of operational or disbursement-level issues at ground level and maintain TAT.
Business Acumen
- In-depth understanding of the NBFC and BFSI sectors, basic understanding of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and other relevant financial metrics.
- Identify and acquire new wholesale clients, leveraging networks, referrals, and developing new relationships. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitor the overall health of the wholesale loan portfolio, including tracking compliance with loan covenants, performing receivable audits, and analysing trends in collections and portfolio quality.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of Automotive channel financing / dealer financing and other working capital finance products (Term Loan, Demo Vehicle Finance, spare parts finance etc.) for Automobile Dealers
- Excellent field sales acumen, relationship building with OEM Dealers and Knowledge of credit documentation, disbursement workflows, and credit lifecycle
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
