Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the engineering services portfolio across European countries.
  • Identify and target potential clients in sectors such as automotive, energy, infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, and technology.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to customize service offerings based on client needs and project requirements.

2. Client Relationship & Key Account Management

  • Build and manage strong relationships with key decision-makers, technical leads, and procurement professionals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for European clients, ensuring service quality, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Actively engage in account planning and support ongoing projects to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.

3. Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, professional networks, and participation in European trade fairs and industry events.
  • Generate and qualify leads to develop a strong and sustainable pipeline of prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records in systems to track progress, forecasts, and sales activities.

4. Proposal Development & Negotiation

  • Coordinate with proposal and engineering teams to craft technically sound and commercially viable proposals.
  • Lead negotiations on contract terms, pricing, and project timelines while maintaining profitability and competitiveness.
  • Close deals that align with both client expectations and internal delivery capabilities.

5. Market Intelligence & Strategy Input

  • Monitor industry trends, EU regulations, competitor strategies, and economic indicators that impact client demand.
  • Provide market feedback to product development and marketing teams to guide regional strategies and positioning.
  • Assist in the development of region-specific marketing materials and campaigns.

6. Performance Reporting & Sales Metrics

  • Report regularly on pipeline status, forecasts, and performance against KPIs and sales targets.
  • Conduct sales reviews and participate in strategic planning sessions with leadership.
  • Continuously improve processes based on performance analysis and market feedback.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Technical understanding of engineering services (e.g., design engineering, consulting, EPC support)
  • Proven success in international B2B sales across European markets
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with C-level and technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with European business etiquette, regulatory environments, and language diversity
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing complex sales cycles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
