Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the engineering services portfolio across European countries.
- Identify and target potential clients in sectors such as automotive, energy, infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, and technology.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to customize service offerings based on client needs and project requirements.
2. Client Relationship & Key Account Management
- Build and manage strong relationships with key decision-makers, technical leads, and procurement professionals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for European clients, ensuring service quality, satisfaction, and retention.
- Actively engage in account planning and support ongoing projects to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
3. Lead Generation & Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, professional networks, and participation in European trade fairs and industry events.
- Generate and qualify leads to develop a strong and sustainable pipeline of prospects.
- Maintain accurate records in systems to track progress, forecasts, and sales activities.
4. Proposal Development & Negotiation
- Coordinate with proposal and engineering teams to craft technically sound and commercially viable proposals.
- Lead negotiations on contract terms, pricing, and project timelines while maintaining profitability and competitiveness.
- Close deals that align with both client expectations and internal delivery capabilities.
5. Market Intelligence & Strategy Input
- Monitor industry trends, EU regulations, competitor strategies, and economic indicators that impact client demand.
- Provide market feedback to product development and marketing teams to guide regional strategies and positioning.
- Assist in the development of region-specific marketing materials and campaigns.
6. Performance Reporting & Sales Metrics
- Report regularly on pipeline status, forecasts, and performance against KPIs and sales targets.
- Conduct sales reviews and participate in strategic planning sessions with leadership.
- Continuously improve processes based on performance analysis and market feedback.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Technical understanding of engineering services (e.g., design engineering, consulting, EPC support)
- Proven success in international B2B sales across European markets
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with C-level and technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with European business etiquette, regulatory environments, and language diversity
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing complex sales cycles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
