Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic sales leader to drive business growth across the state for BPL Medical Technologies complete portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in medical device sales, proven experience in team handling, key account management, channel management, and business development. This role requires strategic leadership, market expansion capabilities, and the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders across the state.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve assigned sales targets across the state for all BPL Medical Technologies divisions and product modalities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market share and strengthen the company's presence in hospitals, diagnostic centers, healthcare institutions, and government accounts.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relation
  • ships.
  • Promote and sell the complete product portfolio through effective product presentations, clinical discussions, demonstrations, and customer engagement activities.
  • Ensure sustainable business growth through strategic account planning and territory.

Management. Customer & Key Account

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with ICU physicians, anesthesiologists, radiologists, ultrasound users, hospital management teams, biomedical engineers, procurement heads, and key decision-makers.
  • Manage strategic relationships with key hospital chains, corporate hospitals, diagnostic centers, government institutions, and healthcare networks.
  • Lead high-value negotiations, tender management, contract discussions, and project closures.
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through timely support, issue resolution, and post-sales.

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the state sales team to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture through coaching, training, motivation, and performance management.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, field visits, and sales meetings to ensure team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Develop succession plans and identify talent within the team to strengthen organizational cap

Foster collaboration, accountability, and a results-oriented work environment across all functions.

Channel Management

  • Strengthen and expand dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks across the state.
  • Monitor distributor performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support channel partners through training, joint customer visits, and business development initiatives.

Drive channel profitability and improve market coverage through effective partner management.

Market Development & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer requirements to develop effective business plans.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and recommend strategies for market penetration and business expansion.
  • Drive brand visibility through participation in conferences, CMEs, workshops, exhibitions, and industry forums.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional activities and product launches.

Operation

  • Ensure effective coordination between sales, service, logistics, finance, and operations teams.
  • Monitor order execution, collections, inventory planning, and customer support activities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and business reporting.

Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and sales governance standards.

What we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.

  • MBA preferred.18–15 years of experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare Equipment, Diagnostic Imaging, Critical Care, or Hospital
  • Equipment sales.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in leading and managing sales teams.
