About The Role:

The role is responsible for driving sales performance in the assigned region by achieving sales targets, strengthening market presence, and ensuring smooth distribution across channels. It includes managing key outlets and product mix, supporting new store openings, and keeping returns and collections within healthy limits to maintain overall business efficiency. The position requires a hands-on sales leader with strong business acumen, people management skills, and a focus on building sustainable, long-term growth for the brand.

Locations: Bangalore & Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure consistent achievement of monthly primary sales targets, contributing to overall revenue growth.

- Lead regional team to achieve secondary sales targets, ensuring effective product availability and movement through the retail and distribution network.

- Expand market penetration by increasing the number of unique outlets billed in line with monthly goals.

- Maintain the category mix as defined in the Annual Operating Plan to achieve balanced performance across product portfolios.

- Facilitate new store openings, ensuring all new outlets meet sales activation and revenue targets post-launch.

- Maintain Return to Vendor levels at or below defined targets through efficient inventory rotation and proactive issue resolution.

- Monitor and control Accounts Receivable Days, ensuring timely collections and strong credit discipline.

- Analyze sales trends, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of regional sales plans.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to foster a high-performance culture aligned with DeHaat Honest Farms values and objectives.

Educational Qualifications:

Masters's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.

Experience & Skills:

- 8+ years of overall sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or regional leadership role.

- Proven experience in FMCG or retail with in-depth knowledge of distribution channels, market dynamics, and sales operations.

- Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth, expanding market coverage, and executing retail or channel expansion strategies

- Strong leadership and people management abilities

- Strategic thinking and business acumen

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Analytical problem-solving and decision-making orientation

- Collaborative, growth-driven, and result-focused mindset
