With a focus on serving the marine, offshore, oil & gas and heavy industrial sectors, the company provides high-performance surface preparation solutions that help customers improve operational efficiency, productivity and project outcomes. The business is now building its commercial team and offers a unique opportunity to join at an early stage of growth and play a key role in shaping its regional success.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager– Marine, Offshore & Industrial Solutions to drive market expansion across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and selected Middle East markets. This role combines business development, account management and technical consulting, working closely with shipyards, offshore contractors, industrial service providers and asset owners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across marine, offshore, oil & gas and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers throughout the region.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract award and account development.
  • Conduct site visits, technical discussions and product demonstrations.
  • Advise customers on surface preparation and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Execute territory growth strategies with a strong focus on key industrial hubs, including Batam and other regional shipyard locations.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience within marine, offshore, industrial, coatings, corrosion protection, surface preparation, or related sectors.
  • Experience selling into shipyards, offshore, marine, oil & gas or industrial markets.
  • Strong understanding of blasting, coating applications and surface preparation processes.
  • Proven success developing business across Southeast Asia and/or the Middle East.
  • NACE (AMPP), FROSIO, SSPC or equivalent coating/corrosion certifications will be an advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the region.
