The Area Retail Manager –(Uttarakhand) will be responsible for driving sales, profitability, operational excellence, and team performance across BIBA Exclusive Brand Outlets in Uttarakhand. The role will focus on achieving business targets, ensuring seamless store operations, enhancing customer experience, and developing high-performing store teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Performance
- Drive sales achievement and profitability across all stores in Uttarakhand.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor store performance and implement action plans to improve productivity.
- Drive like-to-like (LFL) growth and maximize conversion, ATV, UPT, and footfall productivity.
- Analyze sales trends, customer insights, and market opportunities to improve business performance.
Retail Operations & Execution
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, operational standards, and retail processes.
- Monitor execution of Visual Merchandising guidelines, promotions, pricing, and seasonal campaigns.
- Ensure optimal stock availability and inventory management across stores.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, VM, Supply Chain, Marketing, and HR.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor Store Managers and store teams.
- Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews, and training sessions.
- Set KPIs and monitor team productivity and performance.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and manage attrition within the region.
- Build a strong succession pipeline for key retail positions.
Market Development & Store Growth
- Identify opportunities to improve market penetration and business growth within Uttarakhand.
- Support new store openings, store renovations, and relocation projects.
- Maintain strong relationships with mall management, landlords, and local stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
Compliance & Cost Management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Monitor and control store operating expenses.
- Ensure smooth execution of EOSS, festive promotions, and marketing activities.
- Drive store-level profitability through effective cost and resource management.

Candidate Profile
Experience
- 5–8 years of retail sales experience with strong EBO exposure.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing multiple stores within a territory/area.
- Experience in Fashion, Apparel, Lifestyle, or Women's Ethnic Wear retail preferred.
- Prior experience handling Uttarakhand market will be an added advantage.
