Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve regional sales and collection targets for construction chemical products.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with contractors, applicators, architects, consultants, and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure timely follow-up and conversion of leads into orders.
Channel & Key Account Management
- Appoint, manage, and support distributors, dealers, and applicators.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, government bodies, EPC contractors, and project consultants.
- Ensure effective product placement and market penetration.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers / Executives.
- Monitor performance, provide training, and ensure capability development.
- Drive a culture of accountability and performance.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Provide feedback to marketing and R&D teams for product improvement.
- Suggest promotional activities, seminars, and campaigns to increase visibility.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company s pricing, credit, and commercial policies.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
- Submit periodic MIS reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in Civil Engineering / Chemistry; MBA (Marketing/Sales) preferred.
- 8 12 years of sales experience in construction chemicals / building materials / cement / paint industry.
- Strong network with contractors, applicators, consultants, and distributors in South India.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.
