Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve regional sales and collection targets for construction chemical products.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with contractors, applicators, architects, consultants, and infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and conversion of leads into orders.

Channel & Key Account Management

  • Appoint, manage, and support distributors, dealers, and applicators.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, government bodies, EPC contractors, and project consultants.
  • Ensure effective product placement and market penetration.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers / Executives.
  • Monitor performance, provide training, and ensure capability development.
  • Drive a culture of accountability and performance.

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and R&D teams for product improvement.
  • Suggest promotional activities, seminars, and campaigns to increase visibility.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company s pricing, credit, and commercial policies.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
  • Submit periodic MIS reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering / Chemistry; MBA (Marketing/Sales) preferred.
  • 8 12 years of sales experience in construction chemicals / building materials / cement / paint industry.
  • Strong network with contractors, applicators, consultants, and distributors in South India.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.
