Brand / Product: Aerocomfort (Roofing / Metal-Insulated Sheets & Insulation Products)

Position: Regional Sales Manager Retail (Roofing / Metal-Insulated Sheet & Insulation)

Location: Ahmedabad, Mumbai or any major metro city in India (with pan-India travel)

Reporting To: Director Sales

Aerolam Insulations Private Limited is a fast-growing company in the building-materials industry. We specialise in high-quality roofing and insulation via our brand Aerocomfort. As we expand our retail and distribution footprint across India, we are seeking a dynamic, experienced sales professional to lead and grow our regional retail sales business.

The Role

As Regional Sales Manager Retail you will:

  • Lead end-to-end retail and distribution sales operations for Aerocomfort roofing, metal-insulated sheet and insulation products across assigned region(s) and pan-India markets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and channel strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (revenue & volume).
  • Identify, onboard and manage channel partners dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors, fabricators to expand market reach.
  • Build, mentor and manage a regional sales team (Area Sales Managers, Executives, Field Staff). Set targets, track performance, ensure team productivity and motivation.
  • Handle full sales cycle: lead generation, product presentations (technical/product benefits), order booking, follow-ups, closures, collections.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders builders, contractors, architects, retailers/distributors, institutional customers (if any).
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis; monitor market trends, pricing, demand, and provide feedback for strategy and product positioning.
  • Prepare and submit regular MIS reports, sales forecasts, pipeline status, regional market insights to Director / Management.
  • Plan and coordinate product launches, promotions, dealer meets, trade-shows, brand-visibility initiatives and other market-development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sales practices, quality/delivery/ service standards across all channels.

Candidate Profile / Eligibility

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related field. (MBA/PGDM preferred.)
  • Minimum 10 15 + years of proven experience in sales ideally in building-materials, roofing, insulation, metal-sheets or related industries. Several such roles list similar requirements.
  • Must have handled multi-state or multi-region responsibility (at least two states/regions) in previous roles.
  • Prior experience managing and leading a sales team (team size preferably 35), with demonstrated leadership, mentoring and people-management skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail/distribution channels: dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors, etc. and proven ability to develop and manage channel networks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management, presentation skills; ability to engage with contractors, builders, distributors, institutional customers, senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in sales planning, forecasting, reporting; comfortable with MS Office / CRM / sales-tracking tools and MIS reporting.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across states / metro cities for pan-India sales operations, market visits, dealer/distributor onboarding etc.

Preferred / Additional Skills (Advantageous):

  • Existing network / contacts in building-materials / roofing / insulation / construction industry across 2+ states/regions dealers, distributors, contractors, builders.
  • Preferred from Metal Insulation Roofing Industry
  • Technical understanding of insulated sheets / metal roofing / insulation products (roofing / metal-insulated sheets / insulation) to better present product value and benefits to customers (builders, contractors, retailers).
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset; ability to work independently under target-driven sales culture.
  • Strong planning, organizational, multi-tasking, and analytical skills.
